Shown above, a Scottish Arts & Crafts bevelled mirror in a brass-clad frame with a hand-tooled Celtic knot motif. Made around 1900, it’s a good example of Arts & Crafts designers dipping into the ancient history, symbolism and folklore of their region’s past.
