Glassware is always a good seller for us, especially crystal champagne coupes. And, with Spring wedding season upon us, we’re due for a brisk selling period. Shown above, sets of Japanese icy blue crystal champagne coupes and demi-coupes. Of course they’re perfect for bubbly, but coupes are also very hot right now for various mixed drinks. Current bartending trends include frozen drinks, the revival of cocktails from the 1970’s and an increased emphasis on mixed drinks presentation—all of which make good use of champagne (and cocktail) coupes. Another trend, the use of expensive, ultra-premium ingredients, makes a smaller-sized glass (like most vintage glassware) a smart choice.
