These Japanese crystal sherry stems have just a blush of pink—enough color to make them interesting without being overpowering. This set of eight glasses is perfect for serving any apéritif or digestif. They are part of a cache of “rediscovered stock”—cases of mid-century glassware packed away (and forgotten) in a warehouse. When I had the opportunity to acquire them, I bought the entire lot. They were still in their original cardboard cartons—which were tanned with age—and the glasses themselves had remained wrapped since they were packed in the 1960’s.
