Some things never go out of style: classic champagne coupes, tumblers or wine stems. Other things, like rocks glasses, pulse with popularity—selling a little more this year and a little less the next. And then there are those things which come back only now and then—like cocktail glasses. Classic cocktail glasses are selling well—the result of renewed interest in old-fashioned mixed drinks, lighter (lower alcohol) drinks, and the use of interesting or unusual ingredients in the hands of talented “mixologists.”
The crystal cocktail glasses, pictured above, were made in the 1950’s or 1960’s and are decorated with a hand-etched pine spray motif.
