From the late Nineteenth Century, a tôle peinte steel tray with a stenciled floral border. The original lacquer-black japanning is now curdled with age—exhibiting a wonderful "alligator" texture on its finish. Modest damage to the paint, from decades of use (see third photo). Convenient wall-hanging ribbon may be clipped, if desired. (1" x 24.25" x 17.75") sw13003d
