This equestrian dresser box—made between the wars—is crafted of Syrocowood, a moulded blend of wood pulp and a binding resin. A race horse's profile is beautifully sculpted in bas relief upon the cover. The box may have held cigarettes at one time. Today it would be perfect on a desk (with office supplies) or on the dresser (with cufflinks watches and collar stays). It would also be a great pocket caddy next to the door.
