A pair of sculpted, hungry lizards encircle the neck of this Chinese-inspired Art Nouveau bottle-form vase—finished with a handsome oxblood glaze. It is unsigned, and remains unidentified, though the color, form and period are reminiscent of late Nineteenth Century French (Dalpayrat) or English (Burmantofts) Orientalist ceramics.
