This impressive pair of signed, hand-wrought iron German Jugendstil candelabra were made by Hugo Berger in Schmalkalden, Germany (about 100 miles Northeast of Frankfurt). Scalloped ironwork, pierced steel, and rustically-hammered riveting demonstrate handsome, Thuringian Arts & Crafts handcraft.
