Though Wade was an English ceramics company, they made a small amount of Irish ceramics in Ulster, Northern Ireland. This "Celtic Kells" bowl was made for a very short period in the Sixties by James Borsey (1920-1977). Its Celtic knot pattern was inspired by The Book of Kells which can be found in Dublin.
