The sleek ovoid shape of this Edwardian Mahogany box is handsome, indeed. It was probably made in Colonial Britain—possibly for storing pipe tobacco. Today, it is suited to holding a supply of stationery (cards) on the desk, a handy place for keys and wallets, or a place to keep one's television controllers. It could also be used to contain the remains of a beloved pet (and sealed-tight, if desired). (Exterior: 6.5" x 9.5" x 4.5" - Interior: 3.75" x 7.75" x 2.75" ) bx13125c
