Made in the decades just before the American Civil War, this ogee framed mirror is veneered with mahogany—the wood of choice for furniture in the first half of the Nineteenth Century. Small dings and veneer splits are minor and commensurate with the frame's age. The mirror appears to have been replaced in the last 25 years. (24.5" x 18.5") mr13057e
