"Xiape"—the Greek exclamation of "Rejoice!" or "Hail!"—was used amongst the Ancient soldiers to express God Speed and Solidarity. This British Arts & Crafts hammered brass tray bears a hand-tooled Welsh dragon at center, surrounded by a piecrust gallery, polished "bosses"and the "XAIPE" exclamation above.
