On the centenary of the Battle of Waterloo, this little English commemorative sculpture was sculpted and cast in brass. The battle was fought on 18 June 1815 and, today, a monument sculpted by Jean-Louis Van Geel (1787-1852) stands atop the Lion's Mound on the battlefield in Waterloo, Belgium.
