A pressed milk glass duck—with a handsome amethyst glass head—sails by, placid as can be. He's actually a covered dish or dresser box; use him to stash candy, nuts, office accoutrements, or the clutter on one's bedside table. At table, he cleverly will conceal pâté, marmalade or (3/4's of) a stick of butter. He was made in the Thirties or Forties by L. G. Wright in New Martinsville, West Virginia.
