This Turn-of-the-Century steel Chicorée canister is finished in white enamel and labeled with (now) faded gold lettering. The piece shows great character—in the guise of dings, chips and other (superb) signs of authentic age and use. Today this canister would be perfect to hold tea bags, dog treats, cookies, or (well) chicorée.
