Embossed anaglypta "leatherette"—decorated with Anglo-Moorish scrollwork—wraps this paperboard presentation box from the early Twentieth Century. Perhaps it held cigars, candies, or some other precious offering. While not made to be durable, this box has held-up in remarkably good condition for more than a century. The box shows a few little nicks—and a fairly discreet ring-shaped impression on the cover (see detail photo). Use this box to store (or present) special photographs, letters or greeting cards. Perhaps it would be a nice place to keep one's sentimental concert ticket stubs. And it's a lovely box to present your own special gift. (2.25" x 10" x 7") bx13176b
