From "An Almanac of Twelve Sports" (published in London in 1898), an English print of a hunter with his bird dog by artist William Nicholson, RA (1872-1949). Printed lithographically after the original, hand-tinted woodblock print. Framed in an antique, rustic-carved "Woodland" frame (c. 1880's-1890's) with a wide, aged golden fillet (see detail photo).
