Two delicate handles top this classically-inspired majolica urn, hand-painted with Swiss folk botanical graphics. Made in Thoune, Switzerland, by Johann Wanzenried (1800-1872)—or one of his descendants who ran the workshop after him. Two small frits can be found along the back side base (see detail photo).
