This Danish Modernist stoneware bison—recumbent and relaxed—was sculpted by Karl Larsen (1897-1977) for Royal Copenhagen. Larsen, who also lived in Paris and Rome, was a Modernist sculptor, mosaicist, draughtsman and painter. (4" x 8.5") sc13169d
