Three bas relief tulips stand sentry around this Zanesville Arts & Crafts vase, glazed in a rich matte green. One of the more "primitive" potteries, Zanesville (sometimes called "Norwalk") ceramics are known for their bumps, blemishes and glaze skips which give their pieces a rustic, down-to-earth look. I've been told that Frank Lloyd Wright had one such vase on his desk. (8.5" x 6") ap12815d
