I have always loved dogs, though none as much as my little shop dog, Benji. While he sleeps in his crate behind the cash wrap, little vintage canines rest contentedly in the antique display case. In England this week, I’ve added a few more to the collection, examples shown above. A silver-plated brass Dachshund folds his paws contentedly, a spelter hound stands at the ready, and a little Corgi from Buckingham Palace looks appropriately alert.
They should all be received, cleaned and priced by 20 October. Please come in to see them.
