Notes From the Road – part II

Trio of English Painted Tin Elephants (LEO Design)

I’m on-the-road this week, replenishing the shop after a busy Holiday season.  One of my new finds is the trio of British tin elephants, shown above.  Made in England in the 1930’s, they were likely part of some child’s circus menagerie—during those special years between the wars.  They are nicely cast, hand-painted, and have the gentle wear of a careful child’s diversion.

These—and the rest of our newly-acquired finds—should be in-store and ready for your perusal by New Year’s Day.  Please come in and see the entire shipment.

More “Notes From the Road” tomorrow.
