I cannot attribute the piece above which I recently bought in Europe. It is hand-thrown, signed by the studio (or the artist) and finished with a mirror-like gunmetal over warm brown glazing. The only thing I do know is that I like it! It’s a winning combination of classic, romantic form with cool (almost industrial) glazing. It would look right at home in a late 19th Century English drawing room or on a cool-Modern glass coffee table.
