We have a nice collection of handcrafted Japanese cast-zinc vases. Though they are contemporary, they are made in a centuries-old foundry in Japan. Each piece is cast in zinc, hand-chased (that is, cleaned-up), hand-finished, baked, hand-finished (again), baked (again), then hand-finished for the final time. Zinc, a component element of bronze, is known for its ability to express fine detail when cast. $100 – $375.
