It’s Beginning to Feel a lot Like Summer!

Bronze Sculpture of Youth Removing Shirt by Luke Gwilliam (LEO Design)

Is it just me or is it getting warm around here?  It seems a few minutes ago we were complaining about the endless winter!

Above, a newly-acquired piece:  a bronze Modernist sculpture of a male nude, pulling his shirt over his head.  One can see (faintly) the impression of his face as his knitted tee shirt is stretched for removal.  Distinctly mid-century, he is roughly styled, in heavy bronze, and signed “lg" by his maker, Luke Gwilliam.  His 1960’s “Brutalist” sensibility allows him to sit equally-well in antique or modern environments.

Please come into the shop to see him.
