17 September is Citizenship Day—a day on which Americans are encouraged to recognize and appreciate their U.S. citizenship. It’s also the day (in 1787) when the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution. In recent years, it has been sometimes referred to as “Constitution and Citizenship Day.”
