An Austrian Parliament

Austrian Secessionist Hand-Hammered Steel Owl Bookends (LEO Design)

Just alighted: this pair of handsome, hand-hammered steel Austrian Secessionist bookends—in the form of a wise (but friendly) little owl.  Cut, riveted and hammered by-hand, the flat tongue slides under your row of books, keeping your tomes upright.  And while they would look great in a rustic, country home, they would look equally at-home perched in an urban, industrial setting.  And did you know that a group of owls is called a “parliament”?
