Over the past few months, I’ve found (and acquired) a couple of European Modernist ceramic pieces which reminded me—at least vaguely—of clouds. They weren’t very jolly; indeed, they were rather drab. Nevertheless, I liked them and quickly gave them pride-of-place in my shop—but not for long. Before I knew it, they were picked-up, purchased, and promptly “floated out of the shop.”
When I found the piece above, made in West Germany in the 1960’s or 1970’s, I was reminded of those other lovely pieces. Now it has pride-of-place; but who knows for how long? It is part of a recently-acquired shipment from Europe. Please come into the shop to see it for yourself or call us for further information
More new acquisitions tomorrow.
