This sensuous vase by Ruscha, is clothed in a dappled violet & steel glaze treatment—reminiscent of some otherworldly planet, moon or celestial being. I rarely find purple vases and—even more often—don't really like them. Needless to say, I LOVE this vase. I find the swirling glaze to be extremely comforting and satisfying.
